Senior Software Engineer

Are you a hands on Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while helping others become better developers? We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a high impact environment, working closely with development teams to enhance engineering standards, improve software quality and drive the evolution of established systems. What You'll Do

Work alongside engineering teams on complex software development projects, promoting best practices across design, development and delivery.
Drive improvements in code quality, automated testing, refactoring and overall system maintainability.
Apply your strong C++ expertise to develop, refactor and modernise complex software systems, driving improvements in code quality, performance and maintainability.
Mentor and collaborate with fellow engineers through hands-on development, code reviews and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial Software Engineering experience with excellent programming fundamentals and hands-on development capability.
• Proficiency in C++, alongside experience working with enterprise software environments.
• Proven experience with automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving development standards within a professional engineering environment.
