Senior Python Developer ETrading

Essential Skills

• Expert-level Python development experience.
• Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable and testable code.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and database optimisation experience.
• Deep understanding of Linux environments.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) or similar testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Snowflake.
• Experience with modern Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with event-streaming technologies including Apache Kafka.
• Experience building data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Exposure to Java development.
