Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple sprint priorities across smaller projects.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the defined acceptance criteria, maintaining quality and meeting estimated timelines.
- Take ownership of your own and your team’s project delivery based on the assigned estimates.
- Follow and contribute to established development standards and best practices.
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment within a cross-functional team and a matrixed organization.
- Meet sprint deadlines and milestone goals.
- Perform unit testing on the code you develop.
- Participate in and contribute to code reviews, providing and acting on feedback.
- Collaborate on system design and planning during team meetings.
- Regularly update progress on tasks using burn-down charts to track your workload.
- Proactively escalate issues and exceptions, proposing solutions and alternatives where possible.
- Contribute to the triage and resolution of high-priority issues on a rotating basis.
- Opportunity to gain experience with integrated delivery pipelines in Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in software programming.
- Proficient in .NET / .NET Core using C#.
- Familiarity with RDMS, SQL databases, or other modern database technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software development tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Willingness to learn or experience with distributed systems, particularly microservices.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Awareness of QA and QC processes in software development.
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: ASP.NET, AngularJS, Blazor, ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Web API.
- Ability to work within a matrixed organization to fulfill your responsibilities.
