About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead a team of professionals within our joint UCC and AV division. In this role, you will work with the existing sales team to promote and sell a portfolio of audio visual, collaboration and unified communication products, services and solutions. You’ll lead the team to increase our trading breadth into new customers and work to increase the depth of products sold into our existing trading base. Working with the General Manager and Business Managers within the division you will ensure that new strategic vendors are launched successfully and that vendor business plans are executed upon. You will work to deliver agreed market shares into the managed customer base.
What your role as an Internal Account Manager will involve:
- Promote and sell products and services to end customers using expert knowledge, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.
- Manage a team of experienced professionals, setting sales goals, sales targets and objectives to achieve operational results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and vendors inc’ external travel when required.
- Provide leadership and guidance, applying expertise in complex situations when needed.
- Enable partners by demonstrating and coaching around a variety of products.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and business updates to the GM.
- Update Opportunities and Hot Quotes accurately to manage, nurture and monitor deal progress.
- Regular engagement with marketing team to leverage core messaging via preferred social media channels and influence the GTM strategy.
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Work to ensure the team fully utilise the XVantage Platform and deliver key milestones around its adoption.
- Effectively manage the performance of the sales team members, rewarding success as well as managing poor performance and associated improvement plans.
To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Proven ability to develop and grow long-term customer relationships, driving sustained revenue and profitability.
- Strong skills in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and coaching sales teams to achieve growth objectives
- Continuously learn the new technology releases in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt strategies to achieve targets.
- Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. CRM experience preferable
- A desire and ability to understand and improve systems, programmes, and processes.
