Role Summary

Provides operational and technical management of Microsoft licences across tenant, ensuring accurate assignment, control, and integration with user provisioning and organisational onboarding. Focuses on execution and service enablement, not commercial licensing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign, manage, and reconcile Microsoft licences across tenant
• Support user and organisation onboarding through correct licence provisioning
• Monitor licence usage and manage operational top-ups to maintain service continuity
• Coordinate licensing activity across identity, provisioning, and platform teams
• Act as technical point of contact with Microsoft for licence-related issues

Out of Scope

• Commercial negotiations, SKU selection, purchasing, renewals, or cost optimisation
• Licensing strategy or advisory to organisations (owned by Client)

Skills

• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID tenant administration
• Operational licence management and control
• Understanding of the Microsoft 365 licensing ecosystem, including tenants, licence types, service dependencies, and how licensing enables platform services
• Strong attention to detail and service assurance mindset
