Controls & Robotics Engineer

We're working with a well-established automation and robotics business delivering bespoke manufacturing systems and configurable robotic solutions across the automotive, aerospace, medical, industrial and plastics sectors.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Controls & Robotics Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of exciting automation projects from concept through to commissioning.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing PLC software for bespoke automation systems
- Programming and integrating industrial robots
- Designing and developing HMI solutions
- Supporting machine build, testing and commissioning activities
- Producing controls specifications and sequencing documentation
- Working directly with customers throughout project delivery
- Contributing to innovative robotic and factory automation solutions
What We're Looking For
- Experience programming PLC control systems
- Robot programming experience
- HMI development experience
- Background within industrial automation, robotics or machine build environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Passion for automation and emerging technologies
