The Opportunity

InfraView is recruiting for a market-leading, Tier 1 Cloud & IT Infrastructure Solutions Provider/MSP and top-level VMware/Dell/HPE Partner, seeking an exceptional Principal Technical Consultant to lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.

This is a senior, customer-facing technical leadership role for an accomplished VMware specialist with deep, hands-on VCF 9.1 expertise, strong architectural ownership and the ability to operate as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.

You'll work across complex transformation programmes, leading technical discovery, solution architecture and delivery, while mentoring consultants and helping shape best practice across the Professional Services practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.1) solutions.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops and solution design engagements.
• Architect and deliver VCF greenfield deployments, upgrades and complex transformation projects.
• Provide deep technical expertise across VCF, NSX and VCF Automation, including relevant Kubernetes integrations.
• Produce and present high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, Statements of Work and implementation plans.
• Act as a Principal-level technical authority, providing architectural guidance, mentoring and escalation support.
• Collaborate with Presales, Project Management and delivery teams to ensure technically robust, commercially viable solutions.
• Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring projects meet agreed scope, quality, timelines and budgets.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and strategic technology vendors.

Essential Experience

• Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.1) - strong, recent, hands-on enterprise architecture, design and delivery experience.
• Architecture Ownership - proven ability to independently design and lead complex VCF solutions, rather than simply implement predefined designs.
• VCF Deployment & Upgrades - experience delivering greenfield environments, upgrades and enterprise transformations.
• NSX & VCF Automation - strong technical understanding and practical experience across the VCF ecosystem.
• Professional Services Consultancy - proven experience delivering customer-facing technical consultancy, ideally within a UK IT Solutions Provider, MSP or systems integrator.
• Customer Engagement - confident leading technical workshops, presenting architecture and advising senior technical stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership - experience mentoring engineers, defining standards and acting as a senior technical escalation point.
• Commercial Awareness - understanding of project scoping, delivery estimates, Statements of Work and delivery risks.

Advanced VCAP/VCF Architect certifications and Broadcom Knight status are particularly desirable.

Package & Working Arrangements

• Salary: £90,000 basic
• Bonus: £12,000 annual target bonus
• Total OTE: £102,000 + benefits
• Location: Remote
• Travel: Approximately 25% for customer workshops, project delivery and team collaboration
• Eligibility: Full, unrestricted UK right to work and eligibility for UK Security Clearance
