Financial Data Analysis Manager
£55,000-£60,000 + Bonus Hybrid - London (2 days per week)
A globally recognised consultancy is looking for a Financial Data Analysis Manager to lead the build-out of their financial analytics function during a period of serious growth.
This is a newly created role sitting at the intersection of finance, data, and commercial strategy. You'll be working directly with the Finance Director and senior leadership to drive smarter decision-making across the business through automation, insight, and proper financial reporting infrastructure.
What You'll Be DoingYou'll own the financial data agenda. That means taking what's currently living across Salesforce, NetSuite, and Adaptive FP&A and turning it into something cohesive, scalable, and genuinely useful for the business.
The FD has recently invested in DOMO as the consultancy's BI platform, and you'll be leading the charge on building out dashboards, automating reporting, and making sure the financial story is being told properly across departments. This isn't a pure analyst role, you'll be shaping how finance and commercial data is structured and used across the org.
Day to day, as Financial Data Analysis Manager you'll:
- Build and own financial dashboards in DOMO (they're moving away from Excel-heavy processes)
- Work with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Adaptive to create integrated reporting
- Use Python and SQL to automate processes and pull insight from multiple data sources
- Partner with the FD on commercial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end cycles
- Support strategic planning with scenario modelling and financial analysis
- Train the wider team on self-serve reporting and embed a more data-led approach to finance
This is a hands-on role. You'll have autonomy to build things the right way from the ground up, with proper support from leadership who actually get the value of good data
What We're Looking ForYou're someone who's done a few years in a financial or commercial analytics role and is ready to step up. You're comfortable working across systems, translating numbers into narrative, and rolling your sleeves up when something needs building.
Specifically:
- 4-6 years in a finance, FP&A, or commercial analytics role
- Strong SQL and Python skills (you'll be using both regularly)
- Experience with BI tools ideally DOMO, but Power BI or Tableau works too
- Comfortable working across financial systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar ERP/CRM platforms
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of projects without needing constant direction
- Good communicator you'll be presenting to senior stakeholders and need to make complex data digestible
Backgrounds from consultancy, SaaS, media, or professional services tend to work well here. If you've worked in a scale-up or fast-moving London-based business where you've had to build reporting infrastructure rather than just inherit it, that's ideal.
Why This One's Worth Looking At- Genuine ownership of a new function you're not stepping into someone else's process
- Direct exposure to the FD and leadership team with real influence on commercial strategy
- Modern tech stack and proper investment in the tools you'll need
- Hybrid setup with flexibility (and early finishes on Fridays)
- Private healthcare, learning budget, and a culture that's collaborative rather than corporate
The team's growing quickly, and they're hiring thoughtfully. If you're after a London-based role where you can actually build something rather than just maintain it, this is one to have a proper conversation about.
