Junior Rate: £300/day
Senior Rate: £400/day

About the Role

We are looking for Junior and Senior Site Reliability Engineers to join our Cloud Platform team. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Red Hat technologies, along with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.

The ideal candidates will help maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms while improving automation, monitoring, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

• Work with Red Hat technologies and cloud platforms such as Azure AKS, AWS EKS, or Google GKE.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Automate operational tasks using Python or other Scripting languages.

• Improve monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

• Support incident management, system reliability, and performance optimization.

• Work with development and operations teams to improve deployment automation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Red Hat.

• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management in production.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.

• Practical knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

• Scripting skills in Python or similar languages.

• Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Exposure to GitOps tools such as Flux is an advantage.

Experience Expectations

Junior SRE

• Suitable for candidates with foundational to intermediate experience in OpenShift, Red Hat, Kubernetes, and DevOps.

• Able to support platform operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Senior SRE

• Strong production experience with OpenShift, Red Hat, and Kubernetes platforms.

• Able to handle complex incidents, optimize platform reliability, and drive automation improvements.

• Experience in infrastructure design, performance tuning, and mentoring junior engineers is preferred.

Please note: Strong OpenShift and Red Hat experience is a key requirement for both positions.
