£70,000-£85,000 base salary (indicative, dependent on experience)

We're partnering with an ambitious, early-stage AI business working with some of the world's leading AI companies. They're growing rapidly and looking for an exceptional individual to build and scale a critical part of their operation.
This isn't a traditional recruitment role. Nor is it a position where you'll inherit an established team and simply manage existing processes.
It's an opportunity to build something, own it and scale it.
The Opportunity
The business connects highly specialised professionals across industries such as finance, healthcare, legal and technology with cutting-edge AI projects.
As Head of Expert Network & Operations, you'll take ownership of building the infrastructure, processes and networks needed to identify, engage and activate specialist professionals at speed and scale.
You'll be joining a small, ambitious team where everyone rolls up their sleeves. You'll initially be hands-on, testing ideas, building processes and solving problems yourself, before developing the systems and team required to support significant growth.
The challenge? Building an expert network capable of identifying thousands of relevant professionals and rapidly activating hundreds when projects demand it.
What You'll Be Doing
Build from zero: Develop and own a scalable expert sourcing and engagement operation, creating processes, workflows and systems that can grow with the business.
Think big, execute fast: Translate ambitious growth objectives into practical strategies, measurable milestones and immediate action.
Drive expert acquisition: Identify, engage and build relationships with highly specialised professionals across multiple industries and geographies.
Use AI and automation: Leverage technology, data and intelligent workflows to make sourcing, outreach, qualification and engagement faster and more effective.
Own the numbers: Track conversion rates, outreach performance, expert activation, retention and operational efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve performance.
Build for scale: Develop repeatable processes that can support significant increases in project volume without relying on proportionate increases in headcount.
Lead through doing: Stay close to the detail, personally execute where needed and gradually build and lead a high-performing team.
Who We're Looking For
We're less concerned about your job title and more interested in what you've built, how you think and what drives you.
You might come from a high-growth technology business, fintech, marketplace, expert network, AI platform or another demanding, operations-heavy environment.
What matters is that you can demonstrate:
Energy and ambition: You're naturally driven, proactive and excited by the opportunity to help build a high-growth business.
A builder's mindset: You've created something from scratch, improved an operation or taken ownership of a challenging initiative and delivered measurable results.
Strategic thinking: You can see the bigger picture, design processes for scale and turn ambitious ideas into practical execution plans.
Hands-on ownership: You're comfortable doing the work yourself, particularly in the early stages, rather than relying on established teams or infrastructure.
Commercial and analytical thinking: You understand performance metrics, operational efficiency and how to use data to make better decisions.
Resourcefulness: You can operate with ambiguity, find creative solutions and make progress without needing detailed instructions.
Technology curiosity: You're excited by AI, automation and the opportunity to use emerging tools to build smarter, more scalable operations.
Experience in expert networks, sourcing, marketplace operations, supply acquisition, growth operations or startup operations would be particularly relevant.
You don't need to have held a Head of title before. We're equally interested in exceptional individuals ready to take a significant step up in responsibility.
The Environment

It's a highly collaborative, five-days-in-the-office environment in London. The team works hard, moves quickly and occasionally puts in additional hours when important projects demand it.
