Overview
Interim FP&A support working with the FP&A Director and FP&A Analyst during a period of increased activity. The role covers BAU FP&A, support on an M&A project and contribution to ongoing reporting and systems improvement work.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly forecasting cycle in Abacum, partnering with stakeholders to capture changes in spend, understand drivers and analyse movements against prior actuals.
- Review month-end performance versus forecast, investigate variances with the accounting team and identify issues such as missed accruals or coding and mapping errors.
- Produce board and monthly operations reporting packs, providing clear commentary and analysis within tight deadlines.
- Maintain the Contracted ARR bridge in Excel and support the migration of this process into Abacum, including testing, validation and implementation with the external partner.
- Contribute to reporting enhancements in Abacum, including the development of customer profitability reporting and sales performance dashboards.
Candidate profile
- Strong FP&A grounding with experience in forecasting, budgeting and month-end analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data from systems such as NetSuite.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in SaaS or technology environments is helpful.
- Must have experience with Abacum
