Service Designer

• 3 month initial contract - likely to be extended
• £500 - £600 per day inside IR35
• Public Sector Experience / Higher Education
• Remote work with occassional travel down to E

Our client is looking for an experienced Service Designer to support a public sector / higher education organisation through an exciting digital change. This contract role requires someone with a strong track record of designing and improving end-to-end services within Higher Education and the wider Public Sector.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs, map current and future-state journeys, and help shape services that deliver measurable improvements for both users and organisations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Designer within Higher Education and/or Public Sector environments
• Strong user-centred design and service design expertise
• Experience leading workshops, stakeholder engagement, and service mapping activities
• Ability to translate research and insights into actionable service improvements
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
