Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Principal Data Governance Lead to join our Statistical Programming Data Strategy and Governance (DSG) group. In this role, you will be a Subject Matter Expert in clinical trial data governance, collaborating closely with partner functions to drive transformative clinical trial data initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Represent the DSG function in senior leadership and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Lead the DSG strategy for data governance, showcasing your problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Implement the Enterprise Data Governance Framework within Statistical Programming.
• Monitor adherence to data governance policies and best practices within the IDASP group.
• Train DIPS group members on domain and technical topics.
• Collaborate with data owners and consumers on data governance implementation.
• Work with partner functions to implement modern data platforms for clinical trial data pipelines.
• Provide input on data quality measures for key deliverables.
• Contribute to department SOPs and guidelines related to clinical programming.
• Oversee the work of internal contract programmers and external vendors.
• Provide time and resource estimates for activity planning.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical trial data governance and statistical programming.
• At least 3 years in a governance leadership and implementation role.
• Expert knowledge of clinical trial data privacy and information governance guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the drug development and regulatory submission processes.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data standards, and modern data platforms like Snowflake.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.

At Jazz Pharmaceuticals, we believe in fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, the base pay range is $152,800.00 - $229,200.00, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. In addition to competitive base pay, you may also be eligible for:
