Join Our Team as a Senior Principal Data Governance Lead!

The Statistical Programming Data Strategy and Governance (DSG) group is at the forefront of data standards, governance, and transformative clinical trial data initiatives within the Data Intelligence and Programming Science (DIPS) group. As a Senior Principal Data Governance Lead, you will be a Subject Matter Expert in clinical trial data governance, collaborating closely with partner functions to drive our mission forward.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Represent the DSG function in senior leadership and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Lead the DSG strategy for data governance, showcasing your problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Implement the Enterprise Data Governance Framework within Statistical Programming.
• Monitor adherence to data governance policies and best practices within the IDASP group.
• Train DIPS group members on domain and technical topics.
• Collaborate with data owners and consumers to implement effective data governance.
• Work with partner functions to develop modern data platforms for clinical trial data pipelines.
• Provide insights on data quality measures for key deliverables.
• Contribute to department SOPs and guidelines related to clinical programming.
• Oversee the work of internal contract programmers and external vendors.
• Provide time and resource estimates for activity planning.

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for candidates with:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical trial data governance and statistical programming.
• At least 3 years in a governance leadership and implementation role.
• Expert knowledge of clinical trial data privacy and information governance guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the drug development and regulatory submission processes.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data standards, and modern data platforms like Snowflake.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Licenses

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or other relevant scientific fields is required.

At Jazz Pharmaceuticals, we believe in fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, the full base pay range is $152,800.00 - $229,200.00. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and other factors.
