Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer – OpenShift Virtualization
Location: Warwick -Hybrid

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer with strong expertise in OpenShift Virtualization to join our engineering and automation team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated, scalable, and secure infrastructure deployments across hybrid cloud environments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement IaC solutions for OpenShift Virtualization using Terraform, Ansible, and related automation tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized workloads and cluster infrastructure for performance, stability, and reliability.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads.
- Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules, playbooks, and templates to support scalable and consistent deployments.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift Virtualization with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure all IaC implementations adhere to security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Produce clear documentation for processes, configurations, automation logic, and best practices relating to IaC and OpenShift Virtualization.
- 3+ years’ experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices for containerized and virtualized environments.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
