Test Lead

Permanent - Test Lead - Bolton (2 days per week in the office) - £60,000 to £70,000

This is a permanent role and does not offer sponsorship so candidates must have the full right to work in the UK.

La Fosse have partnered with a retail business to hire a Test Lead to own testing across a large scale transformation programme. You’ll drive quality and delivery readiness end to end, defining the test strategy and overseeing everything from requirements traceability and defect management to integration and non functional testing. This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll establish automation frameworks, embed testing into CI/CD pipelines, and deliver clear reporting and KPIs to ensure confidence in quality and release readiness.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience defining and delivering test strategies
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems (example: D365 on F&O / WMS)
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and integration with CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience across integration and non-functional testing (performance, load, security)
• Ability to define, track, and report on KPIs for test coverage, quality, and readiness
• Solid understanding of release management
• Confident stakeholder engagement
