The Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing applications using C# and modern .NET technologies
- Designing and supporting ASP.NET Core APIs and web services
- Building and maintaining gRPC services
- Contributing to service-oriented and distributed architectures
- Writing clean, maintainable and testable code
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshooting and resolving software issues
- Working within an Agile engineering environment
You'll have a strong software engineering background with a particular focus on backend development and API technologies.
Essential Skills
- Commercial experience developing applications in C#
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core / modern .NET
- Extensive experience building web services and APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Experience developing and supporting gRPC services
- Understanding of distributed systems and service-based architectures
- Experience using Git and modern development practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in advanced engineering, IOT, Automotive, Aerospace or
- Experience developing software for advanced engineering, automotive, motorsport, simulation, robotics, industrial automation, IoT, aerospace or other physical-product environments would be highly advantageous. Candidates who have worked on software that forms part of a wider engineered product are particularly of interest.
