SQL Developer

SQL Developer (Contract) SQL Developer | £500 per day | Inside IR35 | Fully Remote | 1 Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to support a critical Conflict of Interest (COI) Data Integration Project. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering robust SQL Server integrations, data migration processes, and trusted datasets within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise T-SQL stored procedures, tables, views, indexes and database objects.
• Design and implement data integration, migration and synchronisation processes.
• Build and maintain ETL solutions using SQL Server and SSIS.
• Develop data validation, cleansing, deduplication and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality.
• Create and support migration outputs, delta detection logic and synchronisation queues.
• Support testing, deployment, cutover activities and technical documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server development.
• Strong T-SQL programming expertise.
• Experience with SQL Server (on-premises) environments.
• Proven experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Database schema design and implementation experience.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, Azure DevOps/version control, and SQL development best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Desirable

• Automated testing and peer review experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dataverse.
