Director of Impact Staking

Launchnodes pioneered Impact Staking with the Ethereum Foundation and UNICEF GIGA in 2021. We:

• Launched the first Impact Staking node on Ethereum mainnet in 2021 with EF and UNICEF GIGA [link] to fund internet connectivity in Rwandan schools
• Launched Lido Impact Staking at impactstake. com in 2025, representing the first external smart contract running on Lido mainnet
• Connected 5 organizations to funding from Impact Staking, including UNICEF GIGA, UNHCR, Mercy Corps Venture Fund, UNICEF Venture Fund, GiveDirectly and Grassroots Economics. 
• Built ‘Stablecoin for Impact’ using Aave lending yield to fund school connectivity with UNICEF Giga with the first institutional impact staker the GSR Foundation.

Launchnodes builds and operates the infrastructure that powers Impact Staking, a way for institutions, family offices, and individuals to stake Ethereum and stablecoins, earn yield, and direct that yield to fund social impact. Launchnodes run Ethereum mainnet nodes , and built Lido Impact Staking (LIS) , and Stablecoin for Impact (SFI) a simple way to turn stablecoin lending yield into capital for projects like UNICEF Giga school connectivity and other high-impact NGO initiatives.

We are expanding our team to accelerate adoption and bring $15M+ of new TVL and 1,000 new impact stakers to LIS and SFI over the next 12 months.

You will be responsible for driving the adoption of Lido Impact Staking and Stablecoin for Impact across institutional and individual segments. This is a growth and relationship-led role: you will map the global landscape of potential impact stakers, lead outreach and structured sales conversations, and build partnerships that unlock capital for social good while increasing TVL.

This role sits at the intersection of crypto staking, ESG/impact finance, and enterprise sales . You’ll work closely with the founders and product team to craft compelling offers for large stakers (family offices, funds, corporates), while also scaling retail and community adoption of LIS and SFI.

• Delivery on success metric: $15M of net new TVL on LIS and SFI in Year 1.
• Develop and deliver on a plan to achieve the Key Success metric
• Ecosystem Engagement
• Drive membership and impact of the Impact Staking Working Group
• Represent Launchnodes at ETHCC, Devconnect, Funding the Commons, Impact Staking Working Group (MIT) and other key events.
• Build thought leadership content and case studies with partners to inspire adoption.

• Commercial expertise : 5+ years in B2B/enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally with crypto/fintech/impact finance experience.
• Crypto native : Familiarity with Ethereum staking, DeFi lending (Aave, Lido), and wallets/custody solutions .
• Networked : Existing relationships or proven ability to open doors with funds, family offices, and corporate treasuries .
• Impact mindset : Passion for social good and experience aligning financial returns with measurable impact.
• Entrepreneurial drive : Comfortable operating independently, defining strategy, and executing without a large support team.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
