Overall purpose
The role will be responsible for supporting all users in the use of audio-visual (AV) equipment. The role holder will be expected to have a good all-round knowledge of AV equipment and be able to communicate with users at all levels.

Overall purpose
The role will be responsible for supporting all users in the use of audio-visual (AV) equipment. The role holder will be expected to have a good all-round knowledge of AV equipment and be able to communicate with users at all levels.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Be the single point of contact for all AV enquiries and issues.
- Provide on-site support for events, which may include early starts/late finishes.
- Assist clients, and internal users in connecting to and utilising AV equipment.
- Ensure operational availability of equipment in meeting rooms and spaces.
- Carry out regular daily checks of all AV equipment.
- Log all escalations with internal IT team and external partners.
- Monitor system updates to ensure that they are aligned and manage releases.
- Provide support and feedback to the IT Trainers to assist with improving training materials.
- Provide training and support to Facilities and Client Services team as required.
- Provide preventative maintenance to all AV equipment in all meeting spaces and pods in London and Manchester.
- Liaise with AV provider and internal IT Ops teams regarding PPMs and reactive maintenance.
- Occasional travel to Manchester and Leeds and infrequent travel to Cardiff, Hereford and Liverpool to provide support and guidance on AV and arrange any preventative / reactive maintenance through AV provider.
- Develop processes and procedures to improve overall service and user experience.
- Review / update Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provide support during landlord power downs.
- Suggest improvements and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Provide AV support and guidance on new office set ups and office upgrade projects.
- Maintain stock of consumables and connectors.
- Maintain strong working relationships with third party vendors.
Technical
- A good understanding and working knowledge of audio-visual technologies; including but not limited to televisions, projectors, cameras, microphones, speakers, UC platforms and connectivity equipment.
- A good understanding of general IT hardware and software including the Microsoft 365 stack (inc. Teams), Zoom, Crestron and Microsoft Surface Hubs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to assist.
- Knowledge of MacOS and Windows 11.
- Relevant experience in the legal sector / professional services is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise tickets relating to AV facilities and balance this with project work.
- A high level of organisational skills to effectively manage issues in an office where urgent issues can escalate quickly.
- A keen eye and attention to detail.
- Ability to find 'on the spot' resolutions to urgent issues.
- Self-motivation and demonstrating initiative are essential.
- Demonstrable awareness of client confidentiality, information security and data protection.
- Relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent.
- Genuine interest to work with a leading claimant law firm and passionate about providing access to justice to all.
