The opportunity

Linear Executive Search is managing the selection and advertised search process for an international digital payments fintech business seeking an experienced, versatile Programme Manager.

This private equity-backed business provides a payment gateway that enables consumers and businesses to accept digital payments across devices and sales channels. With offices in London, Amsterdam, Dubai and Singapore, it is strengthening its organisation and operating model to support its next phase of growth.

Based at the London office, you will join on an initial 12-month contract, with the likelihood of further extensions as the business evolves. The role is expected to combine office-based and remote working, although some travel may be required.

The role

This is a hands-on programme management opportunity focused on the maturity of people, processes and technology. You will help the business improve customer experience, respond to regulatory change and prepare for further expansion.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, International Business Development Director and senior leadership team, you will:

• Prioritise business challenges and establish programmes that deliver practical, lasting improvements.
• Take ownership of programme delivery, project prioritisation and a roadmap for organisational maturity.
• Transform customer interactions and deliver seamless experiences through the business’s digital payments app.
• Support further growth, including potential strategic expansion into European and Latin American markets.
• Work collaboratively with technical teams and senior stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.

Person specification

You will be an innovative, adaptable Programme Manager with a proven track record of delivering business transformation and organisational maturity in fast-moving, disruptive environments.

• Programme leadership: Experience as a Head of Programme Management, Programme Manager or Programme Director, with the ability to establish programmes, build PMO operations and recruit programme and project teams.
• Hands-on delivery: The confidence to take ownership of delivery, prioritisation and business maturity planning in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Agile and technical collaboration: Ideally, experience in Agile development environments and the ability to partner effectively with engineers, architects and DevOps teams.
• Senior stakeholder engagement: The ability to work effectively with CEOs, senior leadership teams, investors, strategic partners and third-party technology providers.
• Sector experience: Experience in technology, banking, fintech or financial services is preferred. Experience with private equity-owned businesses would be a distinct advantage.
