Network & Systems Engineer (OIR35)

We’re seeking a Senior IT Engineer to provide on-site coverage and ensure business continuity while key team members are on leave. This short-term contract offers the opportunity to take ownership of a fully operational environment and ensure its continued stability, performance, and security.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain and administer Windows Server environments (patching, backups, monitoring).
• Provide hands-on end-user support across hardware, software, and OS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (switches, routers, firewalls, connectivity).
• Monitor and maintain IT security practices , including access control and antivirus.
• Support system upgrades, document processes, and manage critical incidents as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering .
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and virtualisation platforms .
• Confident troubleshooting networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Exposure to IT security controls and operational best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
