Digital Retail Manager

  • Role: Digital Retail Manager
  • Duration: 3 Month Contract
  • Hybrid working: 2-3 x days per week onsite, Tuesday is a mandatory day
  • Rate: Up to £400 per day
  • This role will play a key part in driving the online retail revolution by supporting the implementation of a new digital platform and ensuring the ongoing delivery of a world-class user experience for a multi-billion-pound retail business featuring some of the world's most prestigious and successful brands.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and lead strategic retailer partnerships, ensuring full accountability for online performance and compliance with commercial agreements.
    • Provide actionable insights to the Digital team to optimize site merchandising, UI, and UX, driving conversion and enhancing the customer journey.
    • Collaborate with offline account management teams to align and strengthen online retail partner relationships for a seamless omnichannel experience.
    • Oversee third-party fulfilment operations, including B2C contact center performance, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and customer expectations.
    • Translate operational needs into system requirements, working with technical teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency and customer engagement.
    • Monitor and report on performance, risks, and opportunities, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
    • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, resolving issues in real time and influencing future platform and process enhancements.
    • Source, process, and qualify data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Ensure contractual obligations are met, inventory flows are accurate, and operational processes support digital propositions.
    • Collaborate on innovative ideas with marketing and operational teams to grow sales and enhance the customer experience.
    • Shape the customer proposition, leveraging digital tools and creative concepts to differentiate the retail offering.

    Experience & Qualification

    • Minimum 2 years in an eCommerce role or junior account management experience required
    • Fashion or luxury retail or eCommerce experience preferred
    • Experience in partner (e.g., retailer, agency, supplier) relationship management
    • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work to targets
    • Understanding of the basic principles and importance of UI and UX
    • Solid analytical skills for performance metrics and using Insight to make recommendations
    • Passion for traffic generation, conversion, and customer retention
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent written and spoken English
