Environment Engineer - 3 Month Contract - Inside IR35

Lorien's Financial Services client is seeking an Environment Engineer to join their team on a 3-month initial contract. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of remote development environments for their developer community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support code delivery pipelines.
• Build and manage tools and processes underpinning pipelines and code delivery (MicroServices and .NET).
• Support and maintain environments for Software Developers and Quality Engineers.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience designing, building, and delivering centralised environment solutions for internal developer communities.
• Hands-on experience with Remote Development Environments, ideally using:
  • AWS EKS clusters
  • Open-source Coder
• Strong containerisation knowledge:
  • Amazon EKS, Docker (building, running, managing containers, networking, volumes, best practices)
  • Deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes
• Familiarity with:
  • Code deployment tools (preferably Digital.ai Deploy)
  • Ansible (projects, playbooks, Automation Platform)
  • GitHub Server administration
  • CloudSmith SaaS, NuGet
• Understanding of .NET and/or MicroServices development workflows.
