RF Electronic Warfare Engineer

RF EW Product Engineer - Inside IR35 Contract - 6 months - Stevenage - Hybrid

A leading organisation is expanding its Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) capability and needs a contract RF EW Product Engineer to support weapon system and missile programmes. You will help deliver configured hardware and validation evidence on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop equipment requirements and manage flow down into the supply chain, internal or external
• Specify and collect technical evidence through testing and analysis
• Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule and technical requirements
• Maintain safe and secure integrity throughout the development cycle
• Report to a Design Lead or Chief Design Engineer

Essential Experience

• Strong understanding of RF and electronic systems, ideally Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA)
• Proven ability to write clear, accurate requirements for design teams
• Experience working with a Design Authority and customers, including managing technical trades
• Experience defining verification and validation strategies and agreeing key functional and performance tests
• Strong communication of technical information to internal and external stakeholders
