EC&I ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

Duration: Initial 3 Months (Potential Extension)
Day Rate: £300 £500 (Inside IR35)
Certification Required: Must be certified to work with 400+ volts

Were seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer or EC&I Engineer to support a Waste Treatment Plant project. The successful contractor will provide technical expertise on-site, maintain and optimise control/instrumentation systems (PCS7, SCADA, PLCs), ensure statutory testing, and act as the electrical duty holder.

Key Requirements:

• ONC/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent

• Recognised EC&I apprenticeship

• Safety Instrumented Systems certification (e.g. TV)

• Skilled in Siemens PCS7, SCADA, PLC fault diagnostics

• Experience in high-voltage environments (400+ volts)

• Familiar with BS7671, PUWER, DSEAR, IEC 61511

Immediate start available . Work closely with operations/maintenance teams and external contractors.
