FullStack Developer Liferay

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a key role in delivering iterative enhancements across multiple platforms. You'll collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and technical leads to build scalable, secure, and modern digital solutions.Hybrid - London 2/3 days a week on site Responsibilities

• End-to-end full-stack development across web platforms and applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions on Liferay DXP (custom modules, themes, portlets).
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop and integrate back-end services using Java (Spring Boot) and PHP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability.
• Support release cycles, DevOps processes, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Handle occasional support tickets, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
• Contribute to innovation, particularly around AI-related technologies.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Full-Stack Developer (or similar role).
• Proven, hands-on Liferay DXP development experience
• Strong back-end development skills with Java and Spring Boot.
• Front-end experience with React, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with PHP and/or React Native is beneficial.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and modern UI best practices.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs, and systems integration.
• Knowledge or interest in AI technologies is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
