Salesforce Delivery Lead (£80,000 - £95,000)

A leading Salesforce consultancy is looking for a Saleforce Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of complex Salesforce transformation programmes. This role provides strategic oversight across the full project lifecycle, from pre-sales and project mobilisation through to successful delivery and customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Lead the successful delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
• Oversee portfolio performance, governance, quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
• Support Project Managers in resolving risks, removing blockers, and recovering challenged projects.

Pre-Sales & Project Mobilisation

• Partner with Sales teams to validate scope, estimates, solution design, and delivery approach.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery through effective planning and governance.

Scope & Commercial Management

• Own scope governance and change control processes, managing change requests and commercial agreements.

Delivery Excellence

• Continuously improve delivery frameworks, governance, estimation models, and implementation methodologies.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices to improve efficiency, reporting, and project outcomes.
• Embed reusable best practices, templates, and delivery accelerators across projects.

PMO & Operations

• Lead portfolio governance, reporting, risk management, quality assurance, and delivery standards.
• Develop scalable processes for forecasting, capacity planning, resource utilisation, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Experience leading complex Salesforce delivery functions and enterprise-scale implementation programmes.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed delivery teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, proposals, and delivery methodology development.

Desirable

• Salesforce industry cloud experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, AI-enabled delivery tools, Salesforce certifications, and consultancy environments.
