The company are a leading FinTech Software Company current disrupting their industry and experience huge growth. A multi award winning business across multiple categories their solutions are mainly aimed at the UK professional services market. Following significant investment they are currently scaling and looking for a Content Marketing Lead. This is a senior, strategic role where you will set the direction for content across all channels, build a small team, and be hands-on enough to produce high-quality work yourself.

You will own and drive the content function across their portfolio of solutions. You will be the primary content voice, taking ownership for everything they publish, and finding the most compelling way to communicate value to their current and prospective customers. Report to the Head of Marketing you will play a key role in shaping how they are perceived in the market.

This role will ideally suit someone with 5 – 8 years marketing experience with a strong focus on content for a scaling SaaS company. You will be marketing for an established brand with a strong reputation but now is the time to properly take this to market. On top of the obvious content (LinkedIn, Email Marketing, Blogs, Case Studies etc) the business are looking to further expand across podcast, video, social channels and webinars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the content strategy aligned to business objectives and audience needs.
  • Map content to the buyer journey, ensuring they have right material at every stage from awareness through to conversion.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in the market, particularly within the accountancy and professional services space.
  • Develop and optimise blog content, landing pages, and long-form assets with search intent in mind.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our solutions and markets.
  • Produce accurate, compelling content about both products, including case studies, feature explainers, guides, and landing pages.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand the roadmap and translate new features into clear, benefit-led content.
  • Define and execute the social media content strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule content that builds brand presence and drives engagement
  • Own the content strategy for email marketing, including newsletters, nurture sequences, and lifecycle communications.
  • Use HubSpot to segment audiences and personalise content for different buyer stages and personas.
  • Write and test email content, iterating on subject lines, copy, and CTAs to improve performance.
  • Manage and develop content team members, setting clear goals and supporting their growth.

Experience Required

  • 5 to 8 years' experience in content marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or professional services.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strategic thinker with a genuine passion for the content side of marketing
  • A proven track record of growing organic traffic and contributing to pipeline through content.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team, with strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (marketing hub) and Asana for day-to-day delivery.
  • Strong writing ability across formats: long-form, short-form, email, social, and product content.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar is highly desirable.
