Project Manager - eDV / Greenbadged

Our client, a world-class technology and engineering consultancy in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced and tenacious Project Manager to join their team based in Gloucester on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects that impact national security and critical infrastructure.

• Successfully deliver projects from concept to completion within time, quality, and cost constraints, while delighting the customer
• Lead the delivery of competitive and compelling bids in collaboration with account and technical teams
• Develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners for successful project delivery
• Manage project finances to ensure accurate revenue, cash, and profit forecasts using company tools and processes
• Build and lead effective project teams, setting clear objectives and supporting team achievement
• Fulfil the Project Management role across different phases of the project lifecycle
• Work with technical teams to document and manage project assumptions and dependencies
• Ensure requirements are managed, recorded, and signed off in the designated tool for the project
• Maintain a risk register and validate contingency costs against identified threats and opportunities
• Identify and deliver opportunities for project expansion with the Account team

• Extensive experience in managing a wide range of projects from conceptual research to sub-system development and support
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Highly effective problem-solving and team leadership abilities
• Solid business acumen and project finance skills
• Strong appreciation of technology, trends, and associated engineering methods
• Experience in Agile development approaches, able to tailor according to project needs
• Capability to operate in a deadline-focused environment
• BSc. Graduate or equivalent experience
• APMP or PMP Qualifications or equivalent experience
