🧾 Job Description – Account Manager | Cyber Consultancy

Role: Account Manager

Location: Hybrid (Glasgow or Newcastle preferred) / Remote with travel

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 basic + 50% OTE

Overview:

A leading UK cyber security consultancy is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships. The successful candidate will focus primarily on developing existing accounts , while also identifying and nurturing select new business opportunities within the cyber security sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling consultancy services and solutions.
  • Support new business development with a small element of new logo acquisition.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and present account performance reports and proposals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the cyber security landscape and client needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cyber security sales or account management .
  • Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple accounts.
  • Willingness to travel to Glasgow or Newcastle a couple of times per month.

Package:

  • £60,000–£65,000 base salary
