Finance Assistant
As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting our growth ambitions. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll manage a variety of tasks across finance, HR administration, and project support. Description
- Process purchase invoices and expenses in Xero, ensuring accurate coding.
- Prepare supplier and expense payment runs.
- Maintain and reconcile credit card expenditure and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Raise sales invoices and manage debtor and creditor ledgers.
- Assist with monthly accounts preparation and reporting.
- Maintain employee records and support HR processes (pension, healthcare).
- Update project data in Projectworks (time, resourcing, starters/leavers).
- Handle ad-hoc admin tasks such as travel bookings and office supplies.
Profile
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems (Sage welcome).
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
Job Offer
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata
