IP/IT Transaction Associate

We are seeking an experienced associate to join a dynamic Intellectual Property and Technology team, advising on complex transactions and cutting-edge regulatory issues. This role offers exposure to high-profile deals and innovative projects across diverse industries.

Description

Advise on IP, IT, and data protection issues in corporate transactions, joint ventures, and collaborations.

Draft and negotiate stand-alone agreements, including technology services agreements and licensing deals.

Provide strategic advice on the protection and commercialisation of IP and compliance with technology and data regulations.

Collaborate with other practice groups on complex, cross-border matters.

Contribute to thought leadership through publications and participation in industry events.

Profile

Must be a qualified lawyer.

2+ PQE in IP, technology, and/or data protection within a leading law firm (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).

Experience advising on IP/tech/data aspects of corporate transactions and stand-alone agreements.

Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in emerging technologies and regulatory developments.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
