Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data & Analytics Lead with a strong background in Human Capital Management (HCM) and HR analytics to lead the design and delivery of SAP-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in SAP Datasphere (formerly Data Warehouse Cloud) with a solid understanding of HR data models , business processes, and reporting needs.
You will be responsible for defining and implementing data strategies, data models, and analytics solutions that empower HR and business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions across Talent, Payroll, Learning, Recruitment, and Workforce Planning domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP Data & Analytics solutions, focusing on SAP Datasphere , SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , and SuccessFactors data integration.
- Define and build data models for HR and HCM domains , ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Collaborate with HR business stakeholders to translate functional HR requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Design and develop data pipelines and data models across HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM On-Prem, Payroll, Time Management, and Learning).
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes into SAP Datasphere from various HR and non-HR systems.
- Define and implement data governance, data quality, and security standards specific to employee and HR data.
- Deliver analytics dashboards and KPIs using SAP Analytics Cloud or other visualization tools.
- Lead or mentor a small team of data engineers and analysts, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams — HR, IT, and Data Governance — to ensure data consistency and compliance with GDPR and privacy standards.
- Support HR reporting and workforce analytics use cases, including attrition, diversity, headcount, compensation, and talent management analytics.
Key Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud
- Strong experience in SAP HANA modeling (Calculation Views, SQL scripting, performance optimization)
- Solid understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM on-premise data structures and integration models
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for HR dashboards and reporting
- Experience integrating with other HR and third-party systems (Payroll, Finance, Time, etc.)
- Strong understanding of ETL processes , data ingestion, and transformation using SAP and non-SAP tools
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Security, and GDPR compliance in HR data contexts
Functional HR Experience:
- Familiarity with HR business processes such as Talent Management, Recruitment, Learning, Compensation, and Workforce Planning
- Ability to work closely with HR stakeholders to interpret analytical needs
- Understanding of HR KPIs , metrics, and data flows between HR modules
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA , SAP Dataservices , or SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors Reporting Frameworks (ODS, People Analytics, Canvas Reports)
- Exposure to AI/ML for HR analytics or predictive workforce planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Analytics, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics roles
- 3+ years of experience specifically in HR/HCM data and analytics projects
- SAP certifications in Datasphere , HANA , or Analytics Cloud are a plus
