The Role: New Business Sales Executive

We're seeking an ambitious and driven New Business Sales Executive to help expand NETbuilder's footprint across enterprise clients. You'll play a key role in selling high-value IT consulting and transformation services—including observability, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across observability, security, managed services, and cloud.
  • Build strong relationships with enterprise decision-makers
  • Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to create value-led solution proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
  • Drive outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and keep CRM (HubSpot) data clean and up to date.
  • Represent NETbuilder at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT sales, BDR/SDR roles, or similar—ideally within consulting or enterprise technology.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding new business KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Solid understanding of the IT landscape—bonus if you have exposure to observability, cloud, or cyber security.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence in outbound sales and in engaging senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Engineering, etc.).
  • Highly self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-led environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience selling Cribl, Splunk, or other observability solutions.
  • Background in selling managed services/MSP offerings.
  • Exposure to UK mid-market and SME buyers.
  • Experience within an IT consultancy or transformation-focused organisation.
