Business Development Manager - Remote
Our client is a leading provider of information, services and software to the property industry, working with a range of estate agency businesses – from independent through to large enterprise groups. With a turnover north of £60M, they have gone from strength to strength since their establishment and are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning on estate agent clients; with inbound leads equating to over half of their total leads, successful candidates can expect success from day one. This is a key role for the organisation as they continue on their growth trajectory.
This is a remote based opportunity, however successful candidates can expect to travel to the head office twice per year for team meetings & events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle with estate agency clients, managing both inbound & outbound lead sources
- Create a territory account plan in order to drive success & stay aligned with company goals
- Build & maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across each prospective business
- Maintain up to date CRM system
- Collaborate with wider internal teams (e.g. Technical, Customer Success, Marketing and Product Specialists) to create a positive customer journey & experience
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity
- Act as a brand ambassador and point of contact for client queries both virtually and at in-person events when required
The Successful Candidate
- B2B sales experience is ideal; managing the full sales cycle
- Experience selling into estate agents is ideal
- A connection to the property industry / estate agency is a plus (e.g. currently in a B2B sales position but has previous experience as an estate agent)
- Based in the Southeast of England
Business Development Manager Package
- Basic salary: £36,000-44,000
- OTE: +£10,000 (uncapped)
