We are looking for a Paid Media Lead with a strong technical knowledge of both performance marketing and App technology to join our eCommerce Marketing team. Based at NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicester with a competitive salary range starting from £50,000!

About the Role:
As a Paid Media Lead, you will report into the Digital Marketing Manager and will own and drive forward our App Marketing Technology stack, focusing on our mobile app ecosystem for media activation with the aim of accelerating our App media activity in both the UK and overseas for both IOS and Android. You will be a key member of the Performance marketing team, acting as the glue between marketing and NEXT App Product Owners, and helping us to get the most out of our mobile technologies.

What else is involved?
- Act as the marketing owner - and go-to person for the marketing team – for the App Marketing Technology and Media Strategy stack, including MMP (Mobile Measurement Partner) and deep linking solutions.
- Design, develop, and own App tracking solutions (e.g., in-app events, deep linking, deferred deep linking) to meet business needs and improve media campaign performance, working with technical/dev and agency teams for implementation.
- Manage and implement changes to data structures and taxonomies within our MMP, ensuring accurate attribution and measurement.
- Work with marketing stakeholders to gather, design and manage the implementation of changes to the stack that will deliver better marketing outcomes. Including:
- App Signal Health Management, focusing on SKAdNetwork compliance and privacy-centric measurement.
- Manage SDK and server-to-server integrations with key app media partners (e.g., Google UAC, Meta, TikTok) for optimal campaign execution.
- Work with tech/dev stakeholders to prioritise and manage change requests.
- Ongoing exploration of the App marketing and media strategy landscape, recommending appropriate new technologies and partnerships.
- Working with Information security to manage processes and updates of audiences & data into the ad platforms.
About You:
- A wide and deep knowledge of the App Marketing Technology (AppTech) and Media Strategy landscape.
- Proven experience working with a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, or Kochava, and app analytics platforms. Knowledge of Branch would be an advantage
- Hands-on experience with mobile app SDK integration, deep linking configuration, and in-app event setup would be a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, project management and time management skills.
- Comfortable working with business, IT, and marketing stakeholders.
- An ability to educate fellow team players on the latest app technology in order to raise levels of expertise.
