Network Engineer (L1 & L2)

£32,000-£40,000 + £10,400 On-site/Remote - Rota Uplift | Renfrew, Glasgow | Permanent

We're looking for Network Engineers to join a team supporting business-critical, low-latency network infrastructure.

This opportunity is suited to engineers with either 1-2 years' experience (L1) or 2-4 years' experience (L2) who are looking to develop their technical skills in a highly specialised networking environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring, supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure
• Investigating and resolving network incidents
• Working with routing, switching and network connectivity technologies
• Supporting production environments and maintaining high availability
• Deploying and maintaining network services including VPNs and related infrastructure
• Working closely with internal technical teams to deliver network changes and improvements
• Providing technical support to customers in a fast-paced operational environment

Required Skills & Experience

L1 Network Engineer

• 1-2 years' experience in a Network Engineer, NOC Engineer or Infrastructure Support role
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching
• Exposure to network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills

L2 Network Engineer

• 2-4 years' experience in Network Engineering or Network Operations
• Experience supporting production network environments
• Knowledge of routing protocols, VPN technologies and incident management
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues independently
• Passion for networking and continuous technical development

Working Pattern & Location

This is a permanent position based in Renfrew, Glasgow.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, night and weekend shifts. The rota includes a mix of on-site and remote working.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
