One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Microsoft 365 Engineer.

CONTRACTOR MUST BE SC CLEARED (active) AND BE A SOLE UK NATIONAL - (no dual, born in the UK)

The candidate hasn't been outside the UK for more than 28 consecutive days during the last 5 years

Location: Portsmouth, Stevenage or Newport - whichever is most suitable for the candidate | Full onsite

Description:

As thE position is based at the client's site, you will be responsible for:
Resolving level 2 and 3 incidents related to telephony and videoconferencing.
Responding to specific hardware or software requests.
Contributing to a technical knowledge base.
Participating in telephony and videoconferencing projects.
Occasionally assisting operations teams.
Ensuring the operational maintenance (MCO) of the telephony and videoconferencing infrastructure.
Providing knowledge transfer to technicians when necessary.
Updating technical documentation and procedures.

Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Cisco VoIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IP Phones, Cisco SBS, VG2xx ), Webex, and Cisco videoconferencing (endpoints, TMS, Pexip ).
Knowledge of VMware suite and vSAN storage.
Familiarity with Kurmi, Telsica, and PeterConnects ecosystems.
Good understanding of SIP/H323 protocols.
Knowledge of WAN/LAN networks and security, as well as system administration and PC environments would be a plus.
International environment, so a good level of English (reading, speaking, writing) is required.
