The Role

As a Senior Python Engineer , you’ll be a key part of a small, high-performing team building scalable backend systems and data-driven products. You’ll shape architecture decisions, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful features at speed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and building reliable, high-performance services in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Leading architecture discussions and mentoring junior engineers
• Collaborating with product, data, and design teams to bring ideas to life
• Building scalable systems in the cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Driving quality through automation, testing, and CI/CD

About You

• 5+ years of hands-on Python engineering experience
• Strong grasp of backend development, APIs, and distributed systems
• Proven experience in fast-moving or high-growth startup environments
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
• A problem-solver who thrives on autonomy and ownership
