Tech Delivery Recruiter (AI Focus)
Role Overview
The company is seeking a Tech Recruiter with experience in AI/Product/Quant hiring, particularly someone with a strong contingency recruitment background gained in start-up or high-growth environments.
You will partner directly with founders, CTOs, hiring managers, and technical leadership teams—owning the full recruitment lifecycle and acting as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, market intelligence, and hiring best practices.
This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially-minded recruiter who has a genuine passion for the AI and emerging technology space and thrives in a fast-moving, autonomy-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Technical Hiring
- Manage full recruitment cycles across niche roles such as Applied AI, ML Engineering, Research Engineering, Data Science, Quant Engineering, Product, and Software Engineering.
- Build and maintain high-quality pipelines through advanced sourcing strategies.
- Conduct detailed technical screening and qualification.
- Deliver a first-class candidate experience from first touchpoint to offer.
- Present high-quality shortlists and support clients through every stage of the hiring process.
Client Partnership & Advisory
- Partner closely with start-ups and scaling tech companies, understanding their product, culture, and technical needs.
- Advise founders and technical leaders on role requirements, hiring strategy, and market conditions.
- Provide insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive market forces.
- Influence hiring decisions using data and clear recommendations.
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years contingency tech recruitment experience, ideally supporting start-ups or VC-backed companies.
- Proven success hiring AI, Product, Quant, or other specialised technical roles.
- Excellent sourcing capability and ability to engage passive candidates.
- Confident working with highly technical talent and senior-level stakeholders.
- Experience within an agency, tech recruitment consultancy, or similar environment.
- Comfortable prioritising multiple searches with evolving requirements.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS/CRM systems.
- Passion for AI, machine learning, and emerging technology sectors.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of compensation benchmarking within AI, engineering, and quant markets.
- Experience working with early-stage or VC-backed founders.
