Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Royston (SG8) Duration: Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35330 Polytec are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for our client based just outside Royston. Responsibilities: * Developing firmware and software with both internal and external software teams * Software development for in vitro diagnostics * Ensuring adherence and upkeep of software requirements * Troubleshoot and diagnose emerging issues Requirements: * Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages * Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and bare-metal development * Demonstrated track record of safety-critical software development * Confident working with embedded systems * Ability to interpret electronics schematics and execute I/O operations * Familiar with Agile software development methodologies * At least 3 years' experience troubleshooting software and electronic hardware issues Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
