Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Royston (SG8) Duration: Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35331 Polytec are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our client based just outside Royston. Responsibilities: * Leading and developing firmware and software with both internal and external software teams * Regulated software development for in vitro diagnostics * Ensuring adherence to and upkeep of software requirements * Troubleshoot and diagnose emerging issues * Formal software verification Requirements: * At least 5 years' experience in developing software and troubleshooting hardware issues * Previous involvement in regulated In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) development, including operating under ISO13485 and IEC62304 * Significant experience in formal software verification * Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages * Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and bare-metal development * Demonstrated track record of safety-critical software development * Confident in working with embedded systems * Ability to interpret electronics schematics and execute I/O operations * Familiar with Agile software development methodologies Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
