An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a portfolio of high-value technology and data platform procurements that will shape future organisational capabilities.

We're looking for a highly credible Business Analyst who excels at stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements gathering and planning.

This is not a traditional system implementation role. Instead, you'll play a pivotal role in helping define business and technology requirements for major strategic technology procurements, ensuring the organisation selects solutions that deliver long-term business value.

What You'll Be Doing

Gathering, analysing and documenting business, technical and operational requirements.

Leading workshops with senior stakeholders to uncover business needs, priorities and desired outcomes.

Translating business requirements into clear technology and procurement outcomes.

Creating alignment across business, technology, procurement and commercial teams.

Managing plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs and governance activities.

Supporting supplier engagement, evaluation and procurement activities.

Facilitating decision-making and helping stakeholders reach consensus when priorities differ.

Producing clear business requirements, recommendations and supporting documentation.

Maintaining traceability across requirements, evaluations, decisions and outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior leaders and executives.
• Strong workshop facilitation experience, including requirements workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Proven requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience managing plans, dependencies, governance and delivery milestones.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in complex environments.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Technology & Data Experience

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked within:

• Data platforms
• Analytics environments
• Technology programmes
• Data-driven transformation initiatives
• Modelling or reporting environments
• Cloud or enterprise technology functions

You don't need to be hands-on technically, but you must be comfortable operating between business and technical stakeholders and translating business language into technology outcomes.

Desirable Experience

Technology or data platform procurement projects.

Supplier evaluation and selection exercises.

Public sector or regulated procurement environments.

Experience supporting large-scale business transformation programmes.

Utilities, infrastructure, technology or regulated industry backgrounds.
