Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Cyber Security, Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, CAB

Our international law firm client are currently looking to take on a new Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Cyber Security, Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, CAB) on a permanent basis. Our client are a very successful and growing 1000 + user law firm who are very IT centric. This results in constant flow of well invested projects. After a recent change in IT leadership, they have upgraded and modernised much of the IT structure and are continuing to do so.

To be considered for this Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Cyber Security, Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, CAB) role, it's ideal that you have:

• 5 + Years within Cyber Security
• Worked within a senior capacity and have good project exposure.
• Experience with creating practice documentation and being part of CAB process.
• Ideal but not required Law Firm experience
• Cyber Security qualfiications - (CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC, GSEC preferred options)

Duties And responsibilites:

• Undertake daily monitoring of security systems, including the Firewalls, IDS/IPS, web filtering, malware protection, data loss prevention, authentication logs other security controls
• Undertake management and monitoring of IT security systems
• Oversee the operation and management of IT security controls
• Incident Response
• Maintain security operational procedure documentation
• Undertake continual service improvement activities
• Perform vulnerability scans on networks, servers, systems and applications, reviewing and actioning findings as required
• Manage and respond to 3rd line support for IT Security tickets and service requests from the IT Service Desk
• Represent changes at Change Approval board as required Maintain security designs to support the firm and provide guidance and support in their use
• Conduct technical security audits and perform technical risk assessment
• Monitor the use of privilege account management systems
• Keep abreast of the cyber security threats and review threat intelligence information
• Contribute to security reports including keeping track of information security metrics
• Interact with technical teams to provide support for security systems
• Provide on-call support on a rota basis
