EUC Engineer

I am currently partnering with an award-winning professional services partnership that is looking for an EUC Engineer (Endpoint Management & Intune) to join their Digital Services team. This is a key technical role focused on driving improvements across endpoint governance, application lifecycles, and automation for approximately 1,400 users.

Job Title: EUC Engineer (Endpoint Management and Intune)

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days onsite a week)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Configuring and maintaining Microsoft Intune policies, configuration profiles, compliance rules, and security baselines.
• Automation & Provisioning: Building, improving, and supporting Windows Autopilot provisioning processes alongside writing PowerShell scripts to reduce manual operational effort.
• Application Lifecycle: Patching, packaging, and deploying applications natively within Intune while monitoring general platform health and configuration drift.
• Escalation & Support: Acting as the third-line technical escalation point for complex endpoint incidents passed up from 1st and 2nd line support teams.
• Security & Governance: Owning endpoint vulnerability mitigations and maintaining secure, secure-by-default endpoint baselines in collaboration with the infrastructure team.

Essential Requirements

• Intune Expertise: Significant experience administering Microsoft Intune in a medium or large enterprise environment, alongside a strong understanding of modern MDM/MAM methodologies.
• Microsoft Stack: Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 11, Entra, Conditional Access, and Autopilot.
• Patch Management: Hands-on experience managing application packaging and automated third-party software patching tools (such as Patch My PC).
• Scripting: Commercial experience utilizing PowerShell for endpoint automation, configuration, and reporting.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge equivalent to a Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) certification.

Desirable Requirements

• Apple Management: Experience managing macOS devices via Intune or alternative platforms like Jamf.
• Security Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, the wider M365 security stack, and Zero Trust strategies.
• Frameworks: Experience working within an ITIL-aligned environment.
