Lead the transformation of a B2B marketplace.
We’re working with a B2B platform provider at a pivotal stage of their product transformation. As they shift toward a more scalable, user-focused experience, they’re hiring a Lead Product Manager to own and evolve their core Marketplace platform — the backbone of a core transactional platform supporting key business operations.
The Opportunity
As Lead Product Manager, you will bring structure, clarity, and product thinking to a commercially led environment. You’ll be the driving force behind the success and growth of the marketplace product.
Reporting to the Product Director, you'll lead the transition from a functional ordering tool to a high-performing, user-centric marketplace. This is a hands-on role with strategic impact — focused on product ownership, delivery enablement, and capability building in a complex B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the marketplace product and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and revenue growth.
- Drive the adoption of product management tools and methodologies, optimising efficiency and processes
- Drive product performance in areas like conversion, usability, and customer engagement.
- Help mature the product operating model in a complex, B2B environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience leading product in a mid-sized B2B or platform business (ideally 1,000+ employees).
- Strong knowledge of marketplace models or transactional platforms (ideally B2B or can be B2C).
- Someone who can inspire and uplift teams, while getting stuck into the detail when needed.
- Commercially savvy with a strong user focus
- Energy, passion, and pragmatism – you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves or challenge the status quo.
