Project Manager
Project Manager Location: Colchester (Hybrid with occasional international travel) Are you a proactive, detail-driven Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-profile customer projects across the UK and internationally We are working with an established organisation in the technology space that is looking to strengthen its project delivery function with a confident, commercially-savvy Project Manager.In this role, you’ll be at the heart of coordinating cross-functional teams, shaping delivery processes, and ensuring projects land on time, within scope, and to an exceptional standard.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys customer interaction, and wants to make a measurable impact on project success. What you’ll be doing
- Leading the coordination and delivery of customer pilots and wider project rollouts, working closely with sales, implementation, customer service teams, third-party partners and other stakeholders
- Managing project intake, documentation, and the overall flow of initiatives through the pipeline to ensure smooth, measurable delivery
- Ensuring project methodologies are followed, including proper closure, reporting, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
- Creating and maintaining Gantt charts, tracking actions, monitoring risks, and keeping all delivery owners accountable
- Forecasting and tracking project costs, identifying variances and opportunities for savings
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customers, gathering requirements, coordinating meetings, and reporting progress against milestones
- Producing clear and concise project reporting, including KPIs and status updates for senior leadership
- Enhancing delivery processes, templates, and documentation, and supporting the wider team with training and best-practice guidance
- A proven Project Manager with experience delivering multi-site or global projects, ideally within a customer-focused environment
- A recognised project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMI) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines confidently
- Strong stakeholder-management experience—comfortable influencing, coordinating, and holding others to account in a matrix structure
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers on delivery, progress reporting, and risk management
- Solid Microsoft skills and experience creating Gantt charts is a must
- Experience working within an ISO9001 compliance environment
- A natural problem-solver with the ability to identify solutions quickly and drive positive outcomes
