Digital Support Apprentice

Lothian valuation Joint Board are looking for someone to join their growing team as a Digital Support Apprentice. In this role the apprentice will provide first-line support on digital systems and processes across multiple departments, ensuring smooth operation of IT services and business applications.
Responsibilities:
- IT Network Services: Act as first point of contact for IT-related queries and Helpdesk tickets, triaging these where possible and escalating where necessary. Shadow IT team to learn software deployment on laptops and troubleshoot issues. Gain practical knowledge of cyber security threats and prevention measures
- Technical / Valuation Department: Maintain and update content on Microsoft SharePoint intranet site. Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Update and manage documents in Microsoft Word. Create and manage records in the valuation systems CVS, DVS, and Civica
- Business Support Unit: Draft and publish the weekly all-staff newsletter. Create and schedule posts for organisational social media channels
- Data & Property Management: Research and update property valuation data in internal systems. Maintain housing registers and tribunal spreadsheets. Review and correct mismatched property records
What do I need to be successful?
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually when required
- Professional approach towards all aspects of work
- Good time management, planning and organisational skills
Salary: £23,859 per annum
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
