AWS Platform Engineer - £800pd Inside IR35 - London - Energy Trading

I'm currently recruiting for an AWS Platform Engineer for one of my Energy Trading clients, working on the modernisation of a large-scale workflow orchestration platform used across multiple engineering teams.

They're looking for someone with the following experience:

• Strong AWS platform engineering experience, ideally across EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, IAM

• Experience owning platforms end-to-end - assessing the current setup, defining the target architecture and delivering the migration/improvement roadmap

• Strong experience with workflow orchestration at scale using tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect or similar

• Experience improving platform reliability, isolation, monitoring, secrets management and deployment processes across multiple teams

• Previous experience migrating from self-hosted platforms towards managed/cloud-native solutions would be highly beneficial

The key priorities are AWS, platform ownership and workflow automation at scale.

This is an Inside IR35 role, paying around £800pd (negotiable). It is a fully in-office role, with 5 days per week required in their London office. It is an initial 9 month contract, with good chance for further extensions.
